tonight was spent kicking it french style. or. somethin' like that. haha. it was a good show. it started at effing 10pm, though, haha. the band members were just standing around (right in front of me, when at that point i was sitting on a barstool and due to them could not stretch my legs out.) and the time was passing and i was like, "okay, i didn't pay for 5 hours on the parking meter, let's get moving" when i walked in i realised how much i miss going to shows. <3 i hadn't been to one since bright eyes - august 1st - and that was in a foreign land. (yeah, columbus.) it's crazy, but although i can't stand when people smoke in any other context whatsoever and i will go on and on about how disgusting smoking is, it's sort of like..nice..at shows. heh. it's just a part of them and when i smell it in that sorta context i get reminded of them. i'm weird, yeah. anyway. i'm lucky i had a $20 in my pocket that i forgot about. i got apollo sunshine's cd which isn't coming out until october <3 yay. they're so much fun live. um, pictures! :: uh, sorry for the suckage. i felt weird using the flash because i was like three feet away from them and i was afraid it would a) momentarily blind them, causing them to mess up the song or b) cause them to glare in my general direction. thus: blurry pictures. oh well. ha, there were these girls dancing "sexily" at the lead singer of the french kicks. it was highly amusing. these girls standing next to me were making fun of them and were grabbing him in imitation. heh. yay! only 4 days until cursive. that show will rock because i'll actually know some songs. as much as i love going to see nearly any band live, it's more fun if you know the words. okay, well, i should go now. g'night!
